The second annual Nordic Fund Selection
Awards will be held at Teaterskeppet in central
Stockholm on October 13. Tell Media Group AB has created the Awards
in an effort to highlight the importance of the fund selection
profession and to create a benchmark for fund selectors in the
Nordic region.

Finnish Retail Fund Selection team of the year
Swedish Retail Fund Selection team of the year
Norwegian Retail Fund Selection team of the year
Danish Institutional Fund Selection team of the year
Finnish Institutional Fund Selection team of the year
Swedish Institutional Fund Selection team of the year
Norwegian Institutional Fund Selection team of the year
Methodology
We have received nominations and are
currently in the process of receiving ratings from fund grous. Fund
groups rate each nominated team (1-5) on the following
questions:
- How important is the team (in terms
potential asset flows & brand)?
- How good (professional) do you
perceive the selection process used by the team to be?
- How good is the team at interacting
with the fund manager during meetings (focus on important
issues)?
- How good is the team at communicating
with you throughout the selection process (including explaining
their selection)?
- How good is the team at setting the
right expectations on selected funds/managers?
The team in each category with the highest average rating will
be the winner.
