Nordic Fund Selection Awards 2011
The second annual Nordic Fund Selection Awards will be held at
Teaterskeppet in central Stockholm on October 13. We are currently
preparing for nominations and voting.

The winners of the Nordic Fund Selection Awards 2010
In an effort to highlight the
importance of the fund selection profession, and to create a
benchmark for fund selectors in the Nordic region, Tell Media Group
AB - the Swedish based research and publishing company - has
established the Nordic Fund Selection Awards. The winners of the
first annual Awards were announced at a ceremony at the Nordic Fund
Selection Forum in Stockholm on October 7.
The process to find the winners of the
awards was initiated before the summer when Tell Media Group
started to collect nominations. In September the nominations was
submitted to more than twenty fund groups who was asked to rate
each selection team in terms of how professional they find each
team to be in their overall selection process, which includes both
the pure research but also how professional the selection teams are
in communication pre- and post selection. Twelve fund groups
submitted their ratings and the winners in each category is
outlined below.

New date for the Nordic Fund Selection Forum 2010
The volcano on Iceland caused both practical problems as well as
general uncertainy for the fund groups and external speakers we are
working with for the Nordic Fund Selection Forum 2010. We have
therefore decided to postpone the conference until October
7.
This, the 3rd annual Nordic Fund Selection Forum, is
an exclusive investment conference aimed at fund selectors at
banks, insurance companies, investment consultants, pension funds
and fund of funds in the Nordic region. You find more information

Nordic Fund Selection Forum 2010
The team at Tell Media Group has been working hard to put
together a great program for the third annual Nordic
Fund Selection Forum and I think we have succeeded. We have
been able to attract an excellent line-up of speakers this year and
there will be two distinct sections where we have presentations on
developed markets in the morning and presentations on emerging
markets in the afternoon. We also have two external key-note
speakers covering trends in fund selection and Fredrik Skavlan who
will share his experiences as a celebrated TV-show host and of
course share his insights on interview techniques.

Launch of fondbranschen.se
Following the success with Fondbranschen, the b2b magazine for
the Nordic asset management industry which we have published since
October 2006, Tell Media Group is launching fondbranschen.se, a Swedish language
website for the Nordic asset management industry on Friday, October
23.
